Woven by master artisans of the Gurunsi tradition in Bolgatanga, Ghana, each basket carries the rhythm and spirit of generations. Made from natural elephant grass and dyed with botanical pigments, these pieces are tactile, durable, and expressive—steeped in tradition yet shaped for modern life.

Your basket will arrive flat for shipping. To create your basket’s shape:

1. Submerge your basket in a large basin of clean water for about one minute or douse in a shower for two minutes - until completely wet.

2. Use your hands to gently guide the fibers into your desired shape.

3. Allow to dry in a cool, dry location. If any stray fibers remain, trim with scissors.
