Peter Speliopoulos, founder of Peter Speliopoulos Projects, is a New York-based multidisciplinary artist boldly creating home objects in leather, ceramics and textiles.
Taking a page from his pioneering fashion design career, he creates pieces to provoke the senses, embracing a respect for history balanced with the forward motion of modern life. Speliopoulos is a frequent collaborator on Nicole Hollis’ interior projects, sharing her affinity for handmade objects with soul and patina, as well as her passion for straddling the line between the primitive and the contemporary.
