San Francisco artist Sasinun Kladpech, originally from Bangkok, is a multimedia artist working to explore the intersections and contradictions between nature and urban life.
In natural materials like clay, soil, concrete, and resin, juxtaposed with foraged human-made industrial materials, Kladpetch asks the viewer to consider—and celebrate—nature’s resilience and adaptation within urban spaces. Infusing memory and a sense of contemporary place into each creation, she creates objects that force a tactile conversation between hand and material.
