Co-founded by Rome-born designer and artist Maddalena Forcella, Madda Studio is a textile workshop based in Oaxaca, Mexico. Traditional Mexican weaving techniques meld with contemporary design, creating handspun and handwoven wool textiles that are striking in their ruggedness and authenticity.
From sheep to spindle to showroom floor, every piece bears witness to the heritage techniques as innovative uses of traditional weaving and felting make them decidedly contemporary. As part of the NICOLEHOLLIS Collection, Madda Studio speaks a design language that straddles past and present, heritage and innovation.
