Description

Quiet and contemplative, this tea cup in unglazed 100% porcelain encourages the drinker to embrace the values of slowness and stillness. It is handmade in Japan with a traditional handleless shape, sitting on a slightly raised foot with a fluted baluster silhouette to concentrate the aroma of hot tea.

Care

As this product is made by hand, variations in texture, color, pattern, shape, and size are to be expected. 

To clean, rinse with water and a soft sponge. Do not use household cleansers. Abrasive cleansers, or metallic sponges. 

In addition: 

Do not place in a dishwasher.

Do not use in an oven or oven, or expose to direct heat. 

Do not strike or rub with knives or other cutlery. 

Do not store in a stack of other tableware, in order to avoid cracks. 

If a crack appears, discontinue use.
