Description

Modern and minimalist in style, this tray embodies clarity of form and a flexibility of purpose, with an unassuming profile, gently upturned rim, ellipse shape, and simple flush base. Handmade in Italy and plated with 100% silver, it has a brushed-satin finish and serves for collection and display of small objet or as a valet tray. Available as part of The Ellipse Bar Set.

We recommend using a coaster or small cloth to protect the tray from candle wax, beverage condensation, or other substances that may stain or alter the finish.

Care

Silver’s natural aging process creates darkened areas near seams or crevices, and the oils in skin can leave fingerprints on fine silver that may become permanent. This can be welcomed as the development of unique character, or slowed by avoiding overhandling.

For everyday care, wipe with a dry microfiber cloth. 

When necessary, wash with a mild, acid-free dish soap and a soft cellulose sponge, then dry with a soft cloth. 

Never put silver into the dishwasher. 

To avoid dents and dings, clean the bowl in a plastic container or line the sink with a dish cloth, and avoid wearing rings or jewelry while washing. 

If tarnish or fingerprints develop, sparing use of a dedicated silver cleaner can restore the bowl’s bright shine while maintaining the brushed finish.
