Description

This minimalist accent bowl is hand-forged in Italy and plated in 100% silver, brushed into a lustrous satin finish. Surprisingly lightweight, the rim is unadorned and bent into an asymmetric shape, bringing a fluid, artisanal quality to a material and object of cool utility. It receives small objects or consumables with a quiet, fuss-free sensibility.

Care

Silver’s natural aging process creates darkened areas near seams or crevices, and the oils in skin can leave fingerprints on fine silver that may become permanent. This can be welcomed as the development of unique character, or slowed by avoiding overhandling.

For everyday care, wipe with a dry microfiber cloth. 

When necessary, wash with a mild, acid-free dish soap and a soft cellulose sponge, then dry with a soft cloth. 

Never put silver into the dishwasher. 

To avoid dents and dings, clean the bowl in a plastic container or line the sink with a dish cloth, and avoid wearing rings or jewelry while washing. 

If tarnish or fingerprints develop, sparing use of a dedicated silver cleaner can restore the bowl’s bright shine while maintaining the brushed finish.
