Contemporary yet ancient in presence, this shallow decorative bowl is hand-turned from a single block of Agata Scura alabaster, a rare and expressive brown stone from Volterra, Italy. It tapers down to a narrow base and rises up with a gently rolled rim, echoing classical sculpture and architectural precision. Due to the variations of color and veining inherent to each piece of stone, as well as the maker’s unique touch, every piece will be unique.
Origin: Italy
Material: Alabaster
No. 1 Dimensions: 12” dia x 2.75” H

Alabaster may have a visible layer of oil upon arrival; this will be absorbed within a few days, resulting in a soft satin finish.
Alabaster is naturally porous and fragile. We recommend cleaning with a dry cloth. For deep cleaning, use acetone or mineral spirits on a cotton swab. Never wash with water or use detergents, alcohol, or corrosive substances.
